As years pass, friends come and friends go. A sister is a friend for life. Nancy was not only my sister she was my best friend.
She was always there for me with a smile and hug! When I would call her on the phone to say hello, and wanting to know how she was doing, she would always say "everything is good, it's good" and she would turn the conversation to me and focus on what was going on in my life.
She included mom and dad in so many things, which put smiles on their faces and kept them young.
Nancy was a very loving and caring sister-in law to Chris. She always made him feel welcomed, and part of her family. She gave us both good advice, one thing she told us, if we were happy things would always be good, so far she has been right.
I meet so many of Nancy's friends over the years and everyone would say so many great things about her, but I had already known all these things because she was my sister. I feel she was truly loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Sarah, Jacqueline, and Michael I am extremely proud of the adults you have become. You all have so many of you moms good qualities, I love each and everyone of you.
Alan, thank you for taking such good care of my sister, what can I say, you are a great father, husband and brother-in law. Nancy truly married her best friend..
Maggie, you always knew the right time to lay down next to Nancy.
To Nancy, you were the greatest big sister anyone could have had. We had so many good times that I will never forget. You were the strongest and most courageous person I have ever known. Everything you did, you did with a smile. You never complained. I will miss our long talks, but most of all I miss seeing you!
You will always be in Chris and my hearts and we will miss you everyday and always!
Love,
Di
