JACOBS - Richard V., bornNovember 21, 1943 passed away peacefully on March 26, 2013. He is predeceased by his wifeNatalie Jacobs, and survived by his adoptive son, Willie, hisnieces Genevieve (Andreas), Evangeline (Seth) and Anastasia (Christopher) and great nieces and nephews Alexandria, Samuel, Genevieve, Sahara andNicolai. Richard served in the US Army as a Chaplain's assistant during the Vietnam conflict. He attended Hofstra University and was a Vice President at European American Bank. He was a dedicated volunteer firefighter and served as Chief of the Floral Park Fire Department in N.Y. Richard moved to Myrtle Beach in 1990 and achieved his dream of starting a successful golf and lodging reservation service. He was an active member at St. Stephens Episcopal Church. Richard will be best remembered for sharing stories, giving of himself to those around him and enjoying the life God gave him. He will be greatly mssed by his many loving friends, colleagues, employees, fellow parishioners and family members. Donations may be made in Richard's memory to St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 801 11th Avenue North, North Myrtle Beach, S.C. 29582. Services will be held Saturday, March 30 at 11 am at St. Stephens Episcopal Church with a reception to follow. A message of condolence may be sent to lfhome@sccoast.net.
