OAK RIDGE — Services will be held for Benjamin John Taylor, 76, of South Pasadena, Fla., and Oak Ridge, who died on Saturday, March 15, 2014.

Mr. Taylor was born in Paterson. He worked for Sears and The Home Depot before retiring. Also, he was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a volunteer fireman in Jefferson Township. And, he was a member of the Elks.

Arrangements are by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. Entombment will be at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Hospice Foundation, 2120 L St. NW, Suite 200, Washington, D.C. 20037.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Meneely; his sons, Brad of South Pasadena, Fla., and Bruce of Sparta; his daughter, Susan Taylor Corona of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
