PEQUANNOCK — Services will be held for Cyrilla E. Quackenbush, 85, of this township, who died on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.

Mrs. Quackenbush was born in Paterson. She was a secretary and a writer, penning a travel column for Suburban Trends. Also, she was a parishioner of Holy Spirit R.C. Church, Pequannock, and a member of the Rosary Society.

Arrangements are by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Holy Spirit R.C. Church.

Mrs. Quackenbush is survived by her daughters, Deborah Smith and Dorothy Skaflestad; her son, David; her sister, Helen Lux; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, David; and her sister, Anita Dunn.
