KUIKEN
Edward N., Jr., died on Friday, June 13, 2014. He was 66. Born in Paterson he was a resident of Wyckoff, Maywood and Fair Lawn. He served in the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War. Ed was a Vice President of Kuiken Brothers Company, Inc. in Fair Lawn before retiring in 2000 and was a member of the American Legion Post #171 in Fair Lawn and a volunteer fireman for Fair Lawn Fire Co. #1. Ed was a lover of the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his daughter Jennifer E. Kuiken; a son Edward N. Kuiken, III, two brothers: Douglas R. Kuiken and his wife Miriam, Robert E. Kuiken and his wife Wanda and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17 from 4-8 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th at 10 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
