SIKORA
Edward Joseph, passed away in the company of his wife Martha Sikora and daughter Ann Thompson in Billings, Mt on June 21, 2014.
He was born February 28, 1922 in Wallington, NJ. He was the first born son of Philip E. Sikora and Mary Sikora.
He served in the Army with the 94th Division during WWII and saw action in Europe. On February 7, 1945, he was wounded while his unit broke through a German defensive line after repelling an attack.
On September 17, 1949, he married Martha M. Skorupka at St Mary's Assumption Church in Passaic, NJ. They had two children, Edward Sikora Jr, of Gardiner, NY and Ann Thompson of Billings, MT.
He worked and managed the family business, Philip E. Sikora and Sons, on Market St. in Passaic until July 7, 1987.
He retired to Roundup, MT and then finally to Shiloh Village Estates in Billings, MT.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha and their two children along with their three grandchildren Vance Thompson and Faith Painter, both of Billings Mt, and Jeannine Sikora-Robertello of Albany NY. Also surviving are his brother Philip T. Sikora of Paramus, NJ and two sisters, Joan Carol Tozzo and Claire Helen Freemyer of Toms River, NJ.
A quiet viewing was held for the immediately family on June 23, 2014 in Billings, MT prior to cremation.
