Frank Tondo, 70, died on March 4.

Born in Bari, Corato, Italy he lived in Allendale for the past 46 years. He was owner and president of Arrow Steel Inc. of Paterson. He was also a real estate entrepreneur who purchased and developed numerous commercial properties in Paterson. He was a bowler and and enjoyed his koi pond.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Gail; his daughters, Rita Ferraro and husband Mario of Ramsey, Lisa Tondo of New York and Gianna Richardson and husband Neil of Upper Saddle River; his grandchildren, Danielle, Chase, Frankie, Mario, Elliot and Ava; his three brothers; his two sisters; his three sisters-in-law; his two brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. in Wyckoff. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 9 at St. Lukes R.C. Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike in Ho-Ho-Kus, followed by entombment at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
