Fred S. 90, lifetime resident of Wallington, on Friday, August 22, 2014. Prior to his retirement in 1988, Fred was a Licensed Master Electrician and sole proprietor of the Wallington Electric Company for over 43 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in WWII during the Ardennes, Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland campaigns, and was awarded the American Service Medal, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, European African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, Victory Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. Fred was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Wallington, a member of the Wallington VFW, Pavlick Koster Post 2640, was the Grand Marshall of the Wallington Contingent of the Pulaski Day Parade in 1989, past Treasurer of the Polish People's Home in Passaic, a member of the national AARP and Wallington AARP, Chapter 4115, and long time Director, Vice-President, President, and Chairman of the Board of the Wawel Savings Bank. Fred was the beloved husband of the late Louise M. (nee Kida), devoted father of Fred J. Siek, and his wife Annie, and Dorothy B. Siek, all of Wallington, Loving grandfather of Alan and Krista Siek. Fred is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Wednesday, 9:30 AM, from the Kamienski Funeral Home, 106 Locust Avenue, Wallington, and 10 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C.
