THOMAS
Fulton Townsel, age 79, was born in Camden, SC. He resided in Paterson, NJ most of his life. Mr. Thomas departed this life on Thursday, May 10, 2012. He was educated in the Ridgewood, NJ School system. He was a United States Air Force Veteran touring from 1952-1956. He was employed by Curtis Wright Aeronautics and PSE & G where he retired as a Service Supervisor after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church, Ridgewood, NJ; there he served on the Trustee Board, the Church Choir and was a member of the New Jersey Conference Choir. He was a member of Prosperity Lodge No. 58, F & AM (PHA), Ridgewood, NJ. He served as Worshipful Master, Right Worshipful Master Grand Pursuivant of The Grand Lodge, 7th Masonic District Secretary and was a member of the Mount Zion Lodge No. 50. He was predeceased by his brothers Willie Thomas Jr., Albert Thomas, and sister: Della Mae Banks. He is survived by his wife Mary (Rowe) Thomas, son: Craig Thomas (Kim), daughters: Synita Butler-Hatcher (Derrick) and Sheila Thomas, brothers: Donald Richard Thomas and Eugene Thomas, sisters: Estella Tinsley and Arlene Lewis, 3 grandchildren: Nailah, Jabari, Kaylei, step-granddaughter: Brittany Hatcher, godchildren: Dustin Thomas and Janel Tinsley-York, great-aunt: Beulah Orr, a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Thursday, May 16, 2012 10 AM at The Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church 259 South Broad St., Ridgewood, NJ. Entombment: Fair Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit: Wednesday, May 15th from 5-8 PM at the church. Arrangements by: The Carnie P.
