BLUNDO
John, 84, of Paramus, formerly of Hackensack, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013. Before retiring John worked as Production Control Supervisor for over 36 years for Singer Kearfott in Little Falls, NJ. He was a member of the Paramus Elks Lodge #2001, an avid Golfer and Yankee fan. John was an Army veteran who served our country proudly during the Korean War and a parishioner of R.C. Church of the Annunciation in Paramus.
Dear husband of the late Sylvia (nee Yannette) (1995). Beloved father of Kathy Serafin and her husband Raymond of Hawthorne and John Blundo, Jr. and his wife Louina of Wantage. Loving grandfather of Daniel Serafin and his wife Elizabeth and Christopher Blundo. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113-S Farview Ave., Paramus. Funeral Service Monday, March 25, 2013 at 8:30 AM from the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 9 AM Funeral Mass at R.C. Church of the Annunciation, Paramus. Interment Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack.
