RIVER EDGE — Joseph Bertini, 73, died on May 16.
He worked for many years at Bendix Aero Space Division in Teteboro. He was a member of the K of C Msrg Burke Council in River Edge and High Mountain Golf Club in Franklin Lakes. A graduate of Ridgefield High School, he received his undergraduate in electrical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken class of 1962 then continued on to New York University, where he received his MA in aero space engineering. He was the owner of JNB Services Inc. (an accounting service in Teaneck). He also was the managing partner of Devotion Yoga Studios in Hoboken.
He is survived by his children, Joseph and wife Suzanne of Oradell and Elizabeth of River Edge; his aunt, Frances Kahle of Lake Hopacgong; his brother-in-law, Jack Ford and wife Mary of Mountainside; and his grandchildren, Jack, William, Patrick, Luca and Delilah. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy (Ford).
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 17 at the Beaugard Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road in River Edge. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18 at St. Peter the Apostle Church in River Edge, with internment at George Washington Cemetery in Paramus.
Memorial donations may be made to The John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Hospital at 92 Second Street, Hackensack, NJ.
