Hasbrouck Heights — Joseph Calacione, 95, died April 15.

Born in New York City, he was an Army veteran of WWII serving from 1941 to 1945 and a recipient of the Silver Star and the Bronze Star. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 4591 in Hasbrouck Heights. Before retiring, he was an inspector for the Ford Motor Co. in Mahwah.

He was the husband of 71 years to Helen; father of Joseph Calacione of Hasbrouck Heights and Dennis Calacione and his wife, Vicki, of New Milford; brother of the late Vincent Calacione; grandfather of five; and great-grandfather of one grandson.

Funeral was April 20 at Corpus Christi R.C. Church Hasbrouck Heights, with interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Arrangements by Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.
