FLEISCHER
Leo, age 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 14th at CareOne on Ridgewood Ave; in Paramus, NJ.
Born and raised in New York, NY, Mr. Fleischer lived in Queens before moving to Fair Lawn over 58 years ago.
He served in the Army during WWII. When he returned he started the Mercury Lighting Products Company in 1946. He was the founder/owner for over 48 years, before he retired in 1994. He also enjoyed golfing and belonged to the Edgewood Country Club for many years. Leo was a Giant Football season ticket holder since the 60's and was just awarded entry into the Giant season ticket holder Hall of Fame.
Predeceased by his two brothers Sidney and Fred Fleischer, he is survived by his loving wife Frances of 64 years, two sons Scott and his wife Sharon of Old Tappan, NJ, Chuck and his wife Karen of Stillwater OK, five grandchildren Ben, Erika, Tyler, Dylan, and Logan.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday December 18th at 12 PM, Gutterman-Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors 402 Park St; Hackensack, NJ 07601. Interment will follow Beth El Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
