PEQUANNOCK — Services were held for Lincoln S. Cubby, 92, of the Pompton Plains section of this community, who died on Saturday, January 18, 2014.

Born in Paterson, Mr. Cubby lived in Maywood and Toms River before moving to Pompton Plains five years ago. He was a chemical supervisor for Fritsche Dodge and Olcott, Clifton, before retiring in 1984. Also, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Arrangements were by the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, Franklin Lakes. Donations may be sent to Hospice of New Jersey, 400 Broadacres Drive, First Floor, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.

Mr. Cubby is survived by his daughter, Barbara Link of North Haledon; his brother, Robert; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Anita Kintopp; and seven brothers and sisters.
