Louis Cacella

Louis A. Cacella, 92, died on July 26, at Troy Hills Center in Parsippany.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., he lived in Blue Bell, Pa., until moving to Denville in 2000.

Cacella served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was an upholsterer by trade and worked at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh for over 40 years.

While living in Denville, he was active in the Denville senior citizens Shoot the Breeze Club and was a communicant at St. Mary's Church in Denville.

Cacella is survived by his wife of 62 years, Amelia Cacella; his son and daughter in-law, Dan and Judy Cacellal; and his three grandsons, Josh, Kris and Anthony, all of Denville.

Mass was offered at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Denville. Arrangements were conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services in Denville.
