RIDGEWOOD - Marvin Joseph Rodwick died on June 14.

He was born in Elkhart, Ind. to Marcus and Mildred Rodwick.

He was a graduate of Indiana University, where he was affiliated with Phi Kappa Psi and a member of the BPO Elks. He actively served in the U.S. Army as an officer, as well as serving in the Reserves. He built his career with New York Central RR, Penn Central RR and Consolidated Rail Corp. for more than 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Martha J. Rodwick; his children, Elizabeth Rodwick, Melissa Vecchiarelli, Sarah Conte, Matthew J. Rodwick; his six grandchildren; his sister, Ramona Mills and brother, John Rodwick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 105 Cottage Place in Ridgewood. There will be a reception immediately following in the guild room in the church.
