LA PORTEMatthew J., suddenly on April 16, 2007 of Dumont. Beloved son of Joseph and Barbara (nee Sosnowski), Devoted brother of Priscilla. Loving grandson of Edward and Ann Sosnowski. Dear nephew of Deborah and Richard Sos-nowski, Andrea and Richard La Porte and Michael La Porte. Matthew graduated (Class of 2005) from Carson Long Military Institute in New Bloomfield, PA as a Cadet Staff Sergeant. While attending, he was their Drum Major and sang in the Glee Club. He was a sophomore at Virginia Tech and a Cadet Corporal in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets and a member of the Regimental Band (Highty Tighties). The Family will receive friends Sunday, 7-9 PM at the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. Friends are asked to gather Monday, 10 AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Haworth for the Celebration of Memorial Mass. Interment will take place in Blacksberg, PA. Donations in his memory made be to: Carson Long Military Institute, 200 North Carlisle Street, P.O.
