Edward R. Grich, beloved husband of Evelyn (Fisher), died on Monday, Aug. 27. He was 87.
Born in Stratford, Conn. to John A. and Mary (Kindel) Grich, he lived in West Milford from 1971-2000, Toms River from 2000-2012, and returned to West Milford about a year ago.
Edward was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Before retiring, he owned and operated Edward R. Grich Inc., in Pequannock where he was a sanitary chemist. Along with his wife, he is survived by his sons Michael Edward Grich (wife Gail) of St Louis, MO and Jeffrey William Grich (wife Valerie) of Greenwood Lake, NY, a sister Frances Taylor of Stratford, Conn. and cherished grandchildren Edward J. Grich and Valerie Anne Grich.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations to St. Catherine of Bologna Church, 112 Erskine Road, Ringwood, NJ 07456. richardsfuneralhome.com
