Ralph G., 83, of Toms River formerly of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on February 11, 2013. Born in Corona Queens, NY to the late George and Christine Duerr. Ralph was a graduate of Concordia Collegiate Preparatory School in Bronxville, NY. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of the V.F.W. Post in Toms River and a former member of the V.F.W. Post 4591 in Hasbrouck Heights. Before retiring, Ralph was an Office and Credit Manager for Alside Co. in Clifton. He was also a former coach for the Hasbrouck Heights Little League. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Parkerton) Duerr. Devoted father of Ralph G. Duerr, Jr. and his wife Donna of Park Ridge, Dr. Andrew Duerr and his wife Sung of Enterprise, Alabama and Crystal Eyerkuss and her husband Steven of Emerson. Dear brother of Richard H. Duerr of The Villages, Fl. Loving grandfather of Alyssa, Dominique, Andrew, Naomi and Samara Duerr and Deanna and Matthew Eyerkuss. Cherished great grandfather of Noah Bala. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Service from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Reverend Susan Nelson-Colaneri officiating. Entombment following at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
