Richard M. Sr., 89, of Naples, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Born in Paterson, NJ. He was raised in, and resided in, Glen Rock, NJ for many years prior to settling in Naples, FL. Mr. Agnello proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Navy for two tours of duty in the South Pacific. Richard was a member of numerous organizations, including the Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department for over 60 years, Masonic Lodge #113 located in Ridgewood, the Elks Club in Ridgewood, the American Legion Post #145 in Glen Rock, the V.F.W Post #850 in Glen Rock, the Auxiliary Police Departments of both Ridgewood and Glen Rock. He was also a member of the North Naples Volunteer Fire Department located in Naples, FL, and the Double 5 Gun Club located in Broome Center, NY. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Agnello will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
Prior to retiring, he was the owner and operator of 'Town Garage and Sons' located in Ridgewood for many years.

Agnello Jr., of Sterling Forest, NY, Steven Agnello of Upper Greenwood Lake, NJ, and Karen Agnello, husband William Ruger, of Waldwick, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Keri, Eric, Craig, Rinaldo, Keith and Ryan. Caring great-grandfather of Ashton. Dear brother of the late Constance Zenock. Dear uncle of Joan Zenock
A funeral service is planned for Friday, November 2, 2012, 9:30 AM at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, (201)797-3500. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends, Thursday, 24 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
