North Haledon — Richard Paul Greene, 58, died April 5.

Born in Paterson, he was raised in Fair Lawn prior to settling in North Haledon more than 20 years ago. He was a 1972 graduate of Fair Lawn High School. He was member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Paterson, where he was a volunteer in their food pantry. An avid motorcycle enthusiast he enjoyed cruising on his Yamaha Road Star Silverado 1600, but most importantly he will be remembered for his big smile and his love for family and friends. He was employed as a Bank Courier for Lexmark located in Hawthorne for many years. He also was employed with the Dutch House in Fair Lawn and Shortway's Barn in Hawthorne.

He was the brother of Lester, Charles, Edward and Lawrence Greene; uncle of three; and son of the late Harold and Agnes Greene.

Memorial service was April 13 at the mausoleum chapel of the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Fair Lawn. Arrangements by Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., Fair Lawn.
