CARLSTADT- Robert E. Blake, 77, of Newfoundland since 1977 and formerly of Carlstadt, passed away on Nov. 23. He was born in East Rutherford.

Mr. Blake was a Navy veteran serving on the USS New Jersey and USS Essex. For over 30 years, he was a First Grade Performance Technician for PSE&G Hudson Generating Station in Jersey City and retired 17 years ago. Mr. Blake was a member of the U.S. Navy Cruiser Sailors Assoc. and the American Legion Post 0289 West Milford.

He was the beloved husband of Lorraine M. (nee Cimiluca) Blake of Newfoundland; the loving father of Robert J. Blake and his wife Leslie of West Milford, Jeffrey M. Blake and his wife Rosemarie of Oak Ridge and Brian K. Blake and his wife Nadeen of Wayne; the cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, Jestine, Brian, Alyssa and Brenna; and the dear brother of the late William Blake.

The funeral from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt was on Saturday, Nov. 30. Cremation in East Ridgelawn Crematory, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to , P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
