PICINICH Salvatore "Red," 63, of Carlstadt since 1981 formerly of Hoboken passed away on January 30, 2011. Mr. Picinich was born in Croatia and came to the United States in 1963. Salvatore was a Baker at Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken since 1964 for the late Buddy Valastro Sr., and his son Buddy "The Cake Boss" Valastro. Sal was a dedicated employee of 45 years and received the Employee of the Century Award which was presented to him at the 100th Anniversary of Carlo's Bakery. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. Sal loved politics, and sports such as soccer and fishing. Beloved husband for over 37 years of Lucille (nee Palmieri) Picinich. Loving father of Danielle Picinich Reinoso and her husband Juan and Salvatore Louis Picinich. Cherished grandfather of Daniel John Reinoso and Luca Salvatore Reinoso. Dear brother of Tony Picinic, John Picinic, Elena Zgaljardic, Maria Janjetovic and the late Domenica Picinic. Funeral from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 10 AM and from St. Joseph's R. C. Church, East Rutherford at 10:30 AM. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday 4-8 PM.
