POMPTON LAKES — Services will be held for William P. Gladis, 67, of Hutchinson Island, Fla., who died on August 23, 2012. He was a former resident of this community.
Born in Paterson, Mr. Gladis was raised in Pompton Lakes. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Services will be on Friday, October 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, Butler. Donations may be sent to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981; or to the Michael Gladis Scholarship Fund, c/o Stefan Prelog, 1810 Third Ave., Apt. A-5B, New York, NY 10029.
Mr. Gladis is survived by his daughter, Morgan Bleakley of Lake Mohawk; his son, Peter of Fair Lawn; his sister, Mary Jane Fisher of Portland, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Michael; and his parents, Peter and Winifred.
