Willie Thomas "Tommy," age 87, of Cedar Grove, NJ, formerly of Paterson, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24th 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Williams served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War touring from 1952- 1954. He received a National Defense Service Medal upon being honorably discharged. He was employed as a Commercial Truck Driver for the King's Candy Company until he retired in 1996. He was predeceased by his son Ivan, parents: Manassas and Mariah (Pittman) Williams, stepmother: Ida Mae Williams, brothers: Chester, William, Jimmy, Clarence and Mason Williams, sisters: Edna and Vera Williams, special nephew: James "Bubba" Adams. He is survived by his former wife Joyce Williams, daughters: Ardena (Clavon) Byrd, Rosa (Randy) Williams-Hopkins, and Yvette (Richard) Blair, of Paterson, Altisha (James) Williams of NC, brothers: Jeremiah and Honorable Leonard (Connie) Williams, sisters: Pattie (James) Adams, Shirley Williams, and Dorothy "Kate" Lynch, sisters-in-law: Ora and Annette Williams, former son-in-law: Van Lluen, 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Friday, February 7th, 2014, 9:30 AM at The Seminary Baptist Church, 193-201 Haledon Avenue, Paterson, NJ. Interment: William C.
