Conrad David Senecal Obituary
Conrad David Senecal Feb. 4, 1948 - Apr. 22, 2014 MOOSUP - Conrad David Senecal (Pete) of Moosup, beloved husband of Dolores (Lucier) Senecal passed away in his home unexpectedly Tuesday Morning. Pete was born on February 4, 1948 in Putnam, the son of the late Conrad Joseph and Gertrude (Ash) Senecal. Pete is survived by his loving wife Dolores (Lucier) Senecal. Besides his wife, he is also survived by his daughters and son-in-laws Doreen and Carl Dawley of Moosup, Robin and George Grauer of Danielson, Debra and Everett Hadley of Brooklyn, Tobie and Tom Smith and Tracie Senecal. He also leaves behind his seven grandchildren Mitchell, Spencer and Marissa Dawley, Ryan and Shelby Grauer and Maddison and Carson Hadley who adored their amazing and funny Pepe. He also leaves a sister and brother-in-law Gina (Senecal) and Jerry Dufresnes of Tampa, FL. Pete graduated from Tourtelotte High School in Thompson and then joined the United States Air Force and served four years where he was a Communication Specialist. Pete worked at Frito Lay in Killingly for 22 years retiring in 2003. He then started a career in Real Estate working for Realty World for several years. Pete will always be remembered for his happy-go-lucky personality and witty comments. He enjoyed traveling with his loving wife, fishing and hunting with his son-in-laws and grandsons. Pete also enjoyed his 15 years fishing bass tournaments with the Quinebaug Valley Bass Anglers. Pepe's ultimate pastime though was spending time with his grandchildren. Dropping everything to attend their sporting events, concerts and plays, Pepe would beam with pride as we watched and cheered them on. He also enjoyed his daily coffees at Billy's Restaurant and chatting with the locals. He will be sadly missed by many, but fondly remembered by all. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. www.doughertybrosfuneralhome.com
