Edward J. Bialousz, 89, of Washington, formerly of Monessen, died Friday, May 9, 2014, in Donnell House, Washington.He was born July 5, 1924, in Monessen, a son of the late John and the late Josephine Suchta Bialousz.Mr. Bialousz was a retired purchasing agent for Fesco Plastics in McKees Rocks. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen and American Legion Post 28, Monessen. He also supported the Pittsburgh chapter of Kosciuszko Foundation in Pittsburgh. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.Surviving are a brother, Robert T. Bialousz of Elmira, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, John A. Snyder of Valencia; eight nieces and nephews, Joeine Osiol, Richard Wojnar, Tim Snyder, Gwenn Karr, Keith Snyder, Kathy Snyder, Geraldine Wagner and Rebecca Husak; 13 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a great-great-nephew.Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Helen Wojnar and Eleanore Snyder.Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, 724-684-8750, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 12, followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church, Monessen, with Father Michael J. Crookston as celebrant. Interment, with military honors, will follow in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery, Monessen.
