Mitchell D. "Mitch" McMillan, 46, of Waynesburg, formerly of Washington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Washington Hospital.
He was born September 19, 1967, in Canonsburg, a son of William "Toby" and Charlotte Greene McMillan of Waynesburg.
Mr. McMillan was a graduate of Trinity High School. He was employed as a welder for CB&I Matrix, from where he retired.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
Mr. McMillan was an avid Steelers fan and member of Arden Club, Alpine Club, Waynesburg Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion in both Washington and Waynesburg.
On June 25, 1988, he married Sharla Minda McMillan, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Lacey McMillan, at home, Kacee McMillan of Somerset and Macy (Curtis Caldwell) McMillan of Waynesburg; two sisters, Carla (Ken) Johnson of Georgia and Toby (Jim) Whipkey of Waynesburg; two grandsons, Bentlee McMillan and Kole McCoy; mother-in-law, Joan Minda of Avella; three nieces, Mackenzie (Bug) Johnson of Georgia and London and Pieper Whipkey of Waynesburg.
Deceased is his father-in-law, Richard Minda.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, with Pastor Jeff Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville.
