Clermont - Carl Anthony Carbone, 84, passed away at his home on Friday, May 9th following his second battle with cancer.
Born in Bronx N.Y., he was a veteran of the Korean War and spent 22 years with N.Y.C. Sanitation Department.
"Charlie" moved to Silver Springs Shores, Ocala in 1985 and resided in Clermont since 2013. A wonderful provider and loving husband to his wife Inga and a generous father to his children Andrea, Carl and Heidy; a mentoring grandfather of ten: Rachel, Diana, Joann, Erik, Nicholas, Natalie, Lara, Victoria, Gregory and Amanda; a great grandfather of six and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his sister Angelina, his brother Frank and preceded in death by his brother Paul.
Carl and Ingeborg were to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary on May 16th.
There will be a service at The Blessed Sacrament Church, to be determined. Internment at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell.
Love of my life, rest in peace, until we meet again.
