WILSON, CHARLES BOONE, 82
Charles Boone Wilson, 82, of Ocala, FL. passed away March 22, 2012 after a brief illness. He was born May 3, 1929 in Spencer, West Virginia. "Charlie" joined the Air Force in 1948 and served worldwide as a weather forecaster before retiring in 1970 at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. After retirement, Charlie started a wholesale golf distributing company in Melbourne, Fl. He retired to Ocala, in 2003. He loved his farm and the Tennessee Walking Horses that he and his wife raised and showed. Charlie was an avid golfer, having played in a number of tournaments in Europe during his Air Force career. He was a member of Silver Springs Shores Golf Club. Charlie never met a stranger and he will be sadly missed by everyone he touched. He is survived by his loving wife Laurie, Ocala; children Susan McKeown (Kevin), Satellite Beach, Carol Langston (Steve), Chattanooga, Tn., Janet Walker (Joseph), Ft. Walton Beach, Fl., Mark B. Wilson (Lisa) of Indialantic, Fl., Brenda Goodwin (Ryan), Melbourne, Fl. Grandchildren are Kevin McKeown ('Asa) Pt. St Lucie, Fl., Lauren Wilson, Blake Wilson and Laina Wilson of Indialantic, Fl. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Marion County, Florida. A Celebration of Charlie's life will be held at a later date.
