James Joseph Bogan, 81, passed away on July 4, 2014 in Ocala, Florida.
James was born on February 21, 1933 in Waynesville, Ohio to Fred and Joesphine (Shambaugh) Bogan. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. Following his military service, he worked in road construction as a grader operator and retired from that profession. He was a member of the VFW.
James was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Barry and Greg.
James is survived by his wife Shirley; sons Jimmy and Timothy; daughters Brenda, Shelley and Diane; brothers, Ronnie, Gail and Keith; sister Peggy; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date at the Bogan Residence.
