Summerfield - Reverend Paul H. Lane, 68, of Summerfield, FL passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Tuscany Hospice House in Summerfield.
Paul was born on April 29, 1945 in Jesup, GA to parents, Earnest and Lorene (Kelly) Lane. He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. Paul was an ace mechanic and enjoyed working with old cars. He retired from the Marion County School board with 18 years of service. He was also the pastor of Belleview Church of God from 2000 to 2012.
He is greatly loved and will be missed by those who survive him, including his wife, Linda Lane of Summerfield; sister, Linda Manning of Jesup, GA; nephews, Rev. Tommy Gill of Hortense, GA and Harris "Junior" Lane of Jesup, GA; nieces, Tammy Bibens of Brunswick, GA, Lorene "Sissy" Peaden of Jesup, GA, and Melissa Graham of Baxley, GA; and several great nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at Belleview Church of God, 6419 SE 107th St in Belleview on Tuesday, October 1st from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday, October 2nd from 1 to 2 PM. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday Oct 2nd at 2 PM at the church.
