The Guest Book is expired.
On July 29, 2013 our beloved husband, father, brother, and son Tony G. Lee Jr., 58, went home to be with Our Lord after passing unexpectedly from a massive heart attack on the day of his father's funeral.
He was preceded in death by Tony G. Lee Sr. and daughter, Nicole Lee.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years: Regina Marie Scine Lee; his children: Stacie Lee Wilkins, Kellie Lee, and Davis Lee; his mother: Joan E. Sharp Lee; and sisters: Elizabeth Lee, Mary Rentschler, and Rebecca Hansen. He had six grandchildren: Caleb, Luca, Atticus and Gavin Wilkins, as well as Frances and Isabel Moore.
Tony served his country in the United States Navy for over seven years. He was honorably discharged in 1984 as a Second Class Petty Officer Radioman on the submarine USS James Monroe.
While in Florida, Tony pursued his love of justice through martial arts, as a 3rd degree black belt in Cuong Nhu, training police SWAT teams, and teaching youth and adults self-defense.
While raising a family, he graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Political Science and Minor in Latin American Studies, and a PhD JD from Florida Coastal School of Law in 1999. After moving to Greeneville in 2004, Tony practiced family, criminal and civil rights law.
He was truly a warrior for the underprivileged and misrepresented, and for his family both in Faith and actions.
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 2 in Greeneville, TN., with burial following in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Asbury United Methodist Church in Greeneville, TN.
