He retired in 1999 as a supervisor for the Ford Motor Co. with 29 years of service and was a member of the St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church, the Men's Aux. at Ralph Huff Post 1062 VFW and BPOE.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; daughters, Kelley (James) Barney of McLean, VA and Heather Wayco of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren, Joshua and Isabel Barney; brother, Gary (Iryna) Wayco; mother-in-law, Thelma Williams; aunts, Ann Yacos and Helen Wrenn; several nieces and nephews and his faithful dog, Cleo.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12 NOON Sat. Dec. 15 in Northlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Father Miron Kerul Kmec officiating. Interment Northlawn Memorials Gardens.
