Charles G. Brink Obituary
Charles G. Brink, 89, of New Franklin went to join his loving wife, Helen on December 9, 2012. Chuck was born on November 25, 1923 in Asheville, N.Y. and lived most of his life in the Akron area.

He was a disabled veteran who served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired Teamster and was a member of the Greentown American Legion, Spring field Baptist Church and Temple Baptist Church.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, three sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his sons, John (Sherry), Randy (Sharon) and Mike (Margaret) Brink; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Overbeck; brother-in-law, Raymond J. Olson; and sister-in-law, Freda Brink.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Springfield Baptist Church, 1820 Krumroy Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312 with Pastor Larry Baldridge officiating. Family and friends may call TODAY from 5 to 8 p.m. at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Akron, OH 44319 (SR 619). Interment will take place at the Greensburg Cemetery.
