Donald R. Fleshman, age 87, of Bath, passed away May 10, 2014.
A proud Veteran of the United States Navy, he served in World War II and the Korean Conflict, retiring after 30 years as a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve.
He was the devoted husband for almost 70 years of the late Catherine (nee Anderson). Donald was the loving father of Sandy LeBlanc and David (Laura) Fleshman; a devoted grandfather of Heather (Buddy) Neura, John (Shelly) LeBlanc, Jeremy and Nathan Purses and Aleah and Grace Fleshman; a proud great-grandfather of John Paul, Austin, Kaylee, Aubree, Joey and Josh.
Donald retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber in 1992 after 48 years as a personnel representative, production supervisor and various department management positions. He was a member of the Middle Atlantic Placement Association and also served as past President of Goodyear's Foreman's Club and the Western Reserve Association of Foreman's Clubs.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 15, 12 Noon at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 W. Market St. (PLEASE MEET AT MAIN GATE), Reverend William Sterner will be officiating.
