Erwin Kraker, Jr., 78, of Akron, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at his residence.
Erv was born on June 22, 1934 to the late Erwin J. Kraker M.D. and Elsie (Weimer) Kraker. Erv graduated from the University of Notre Dame and worked for the Akron Municipal Clerk of Courts Office as a Deputy Clerk. He worked for 28 years under four different clerks. Erv was blessed with many wonderful co-workers and friends.
Erv is survived by his sister, Susan (Albert) Feczko of Pittsburgh, Pa.; nephews, Albert III (Stacy), Christopher (Ann), Mark (Stacy), Matthew (Katie), Michael (Katie) Feczko; and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 27, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard - St. Mary Parish, 240 S. Broadway St., Akron 44308. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery to follow. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., Akron 44304.
