Estell (Howard) Coffey, 67, of Akron passed away January 15, 2013. |
He was born April 11, 1945 to Joseph and Dora (Kirby). He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War, where he received a Bronze Star.
Howard was proceeded in death by his by his siblings, Marvin (Bones), James, Richard, and Nancy. He is survived by his son, Jeffery; daughter, Sean; eight grandchildren, Cody, Alex, Ryan, Christopher, Ava, Savannah, Ian, and Emily; sister, Gwendolyn (Midge); and brothers, Melyne (Ike), Melvin (Nun), Robert, Allen, and Joseph (JB).
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Acute Palliative Care Unit at Akron City Hospital for all of their care and support. We would also like to extend a special thank you to JB for all his help, love, and care with his brother.
A memorial service will be held at Bath Church (3980 W. Bath Road, Akron), 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 26. The family respectfully requests, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Bath Church. (ADAMS MASON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 330-535-9186)
