Eugene H. Bihler, 88, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013.
He was a bricklayer over 29 years and was a member of Local 7-OH; after retiring he was a car salesman for 14 years. Eugene served his country during World War II in the Navy and was on the USS Missouri the day the Japanese signed the documents of surrender in 1945.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita B. Bihler and his second wife, Elizabeth Bihler; one brother; and two sisters. Eugene is survived by four children, Cassandra (Donald) Hicks, Frank (Beth) Bihler, Sally Gordon, and Juanita "Cupie" (Daniel) Korby; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; ex-wife Dolores Dorsey; brother, Harry; and sister, Adeline.
Military rites will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman).
