"Doc" Larkin was a tremendous teacher and friend, and his courses in microbiology and immunology were among the most memorable of my college career, and provided a strong foundation for my future studies. They were not easy by any means, and he was as fair as he was demanding. He became the chapter advisor for my fraternity at Kent, Sigma Phi Epsilon. Rest in peace, Brother Gary.

So thankful for all the great memories and pictures we have, but the void will never be filled. Our last words to each other were "love you" and I will keep that in my heart forever.
