George E. Paler Obituary
TALLMADGE -- George E. Paler, 81, passed away March 18, 2013.

Mr. Paler was born April 25, 1931 in Vestaburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, served in the U.S. Air Force, and worked for Goodyear Aerospace as an engineer.

Mr. Paler lived most of his life in Tallmadge and was a talented artist. He excelled as a baseball player trying out with the Brooklyn Dodgers and was a member of the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Paler and parents, Anna and George Paler Sr. He is survived by daughter, Peggy Ann (Brian) Ensminger of Tallmadge; son, Mike (Julie) Paler of Westerville; sisters, Agnes (Robert) Davis of Connecticut, Lenora Zanolli, Delores Allick, both of Florida, Eileen (George) Novak of Pennsylvania; and grandson, Benjamin Paler of Westerville; extended family, Jim Seidelle of Cuyahoga Falls.

Visitation will be 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Dr., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278, followed by a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. at the church, with Rev. Dr. John Schluep officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park at 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, with Rev. Matt Wooster officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to The First Congregational Church of Tallmadge.
