Harold H. Bryan|
Harold "Sam" Bryan, 88, went home to be with his Lord on March 25, 2014.
Born in Star, Ohio on June 5, 1925 to Everett and Vivian Cruise Bryan, he was an area resident most of his life. Sam, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, was a World War II Army veteran. He worked at Cornwell Tool in Mogadore for 24 years and later for the City of Akron for 21 years. Sam was a member of the Suffield United Church of Christ for many years where he enjoyed volunteering on their hot food program and he was also a member of the F.O.E. since 1942.
Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Shirley; he is survived by his loving family; children, Lon H. (Rhonda) and Karen R. Lemmon; grandchildren, Jasen (Angela) Bryan, William (fiance Renee Reed) and Austin Lemmon; four great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (Dale) Parsons; and many other cherished relatives and friends.
Visitation Sunday, 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Barry Bordenkircher officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to the Suffield U.C.C. or their food programs, 1115 Ohio 43, Mogadore, OH 44260. Burial at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
