John I. "Jack" Haller|
John I. "Jack" Haller, 65, of Akron, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born on January 22, 1948 in Cleveland to the late, Jack and Ann Mae (Snyder) Haller. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Moose Club #1082, the VFW Post #8975, and Rolling Thunder. Jack loved his motorcycles.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 14 years, Norma (Cruikshank) Haller of Akron; daughter, Jennifer (Will ) Seith of Mogadore; son, Jason Haller of Tennessee; four grandchildren; and cousin Beth Hager.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where a funeral service will be held on TODAY at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at: www.sscfuneralhomes.com
