Kathleen Louise (Liddle) Hetzer|
Kathleen Louise Hetzer passed away October 3, 2013 at the age of 36 following a ten month battle with cancer.
Kathy was born on December 6, 1976 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the daughter of Robert and Darreleen Liddle. At the age of two the family moved to the Manchester area of Akron, Ohio where Kathy lived until her graduation from Manchester High School in 1995. Following graduation, she enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. During her eight years of service, she spent time in meteorology and recruiting, rising to the rank of technical sergeant.
Following her service, Kathy married Allen Hetzer, and dedicated her life to being a loving wife and mother of three children, Monica Ferguson (17), Nathan (9), and Lucy (8).
Kathy was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah. She is survived by the husband and children; parents, Robert and Dareleen; brother, William (Nicole); father and mother-in-law, Ryan and Janis Hetzer; and nieces and nephews.
Kathy's Christian Faith was important to her. That faith will be celebrated at her memorial service at the Manchester United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, with Dr. Ryan Hetzer officiating. Friends may call on the family for one hour prior to the service.
