Mary J. Eskridge Obituary
NORTON – Mary J. Eskridge, age 87, passed away on October 24, 2012.

Mary was born on December 18, 1924 in Akron to Stanley and Catherine (Swiander) Kulka. She was a resident of Norton since 1957, with her last two years at Liberty Residence II in Wadsworth. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and Green Thumbs Garden Club of Loyal Oak. A homemaker, Mary's family was her life. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Mary loved to have fun, travel, and was known for her charismatic smile.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold E.; infant son, Harold Thomas; brother, Edward Kulka; she is survived by her children, Jeanette (John) Kostohryz of Plano, Texas, John (Karen) Eskridge of Doylestown, James (Patricia) Eskridge of Ravenna, Kathleen (Thomas) Messner of Dalton, Michael (Jerilyn) Eskridge of Moundsville, W. Va.;15 grandchildren; five great-grand-children; sister, Helen Limburg of Fairlawn; brother, Thomas Kulka of Akron; many nieces, nephews, other family, special neighbors and friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Liberty Residence II and Hospice of Summa for their loving care of Mary.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd., Norton, 44203, Fr. James Maloney, celebrant. Burial to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
