Ralph Gironda Obituary
CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Ralph Gironda, 83, passed away July 14, 2013.

Born in St.Vito, Italy, Ralph came to the United States in 1949, and lived most of his life in the Akron/ Hudson areas. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. He started in business with his brothers and formed Vito Gironda and Brothers Construction Company. In his earlier years, Ralph enjoyed playing the drums with different bands. He was an avid bowler and was a member of Cuyahoga Falls Moose. He loved his family and grandchildren and great-grand-children. The great-grand-children will miss their PaPa.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Carmela, and Maria; brother, Frank; and niece, Anna Maria. Ralph is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary; daughters, Carmela (Dennis) Hayes, Juliana Gironda, and Rosanna Gironda; son, Roberto (Terri) Gironda; grandchildren, Michael, Lisa (Michael), Eddie (Elise), Briana, and Jenny; great-grandchildren, Julian, Giana, and Sophia; brother, Vito (Mary) Gironda; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Father John Hengle officiating. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at 12:30 on Thursday. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the DONOVAN FUNERAL HOME, 17 SOUTHWEST AVE. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
