Robert W. Hall Obituary
Robert W. Hall, 73, of Bath Township died (February 16, 2013) after a long and courageous battle from chronic lung disease. (COPD)

Born September 17th, 1939, Bob was affectionately known as "Bucky" to his family and grandchildren.

He was a 1957 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and attended Ohio State University. His business career started with Miles Laboratories and then with Hygenic Corp. of Akron. He was part owner of the Roach-Reid Co. and later founded American Cascade Leasing Co., an equipment leasing company in Fairlawn.

Bob retired from Fifth Third Bank in 1999 where he was equipment leasing specialist and sales manager for indirect financing and auto leasing in Northeast Ohio. Bob had a passion for life and lived each day to its fullest. He had a way of turning any gathering into "a nice party" and was a patient, giving and selfless man who touched the lives of each person he met. He enjoyed landscapng and growing beautiful flowers and plants, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He was loved and respected and will always be remembered as a successful, loyal and devoted family man.

Bob married Sandy Plues in 1964 and together they enjoyed family weekends boating on Lake Erie at Bay Point Marina. In 1985 they took up summer residence at a lakefront cottage on Portage Lakes where they spent the next 22 years enjoying new friends and the Lakes style of living.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Maden and Devonia Hall of Cuyahoga Falls in 1990 and brother, Captain Denny Hall of Portage Lakes and Hillsboro Beach, Florida in 2000.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandy; children, Jackie (Stephen) Miller of Cuyahoga Falls, Leslie (Brian) Campanini of Akron, Rob (Joy) Hall of Copley and grandchildren, Lauren and Camryn Miller, Isabella Campanini, Chloe Callander and Carson and Maden Hall.

Honorary Pallbearers are best friends, Clyde Sheppard and Tom Geiger.

The family would like to thank Summa Hospice staff for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 East Market St., Akron, OH 44308. Calling hours Thursday, from 4 to 7 at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m.
