Obituary Condolences

Thelma "TOBY" Sholiton (nee Federhar), 88 years, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013.

She was a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio and a graduate of Ohio State University. She was a homemaker and Life Master bridge player. Member of Beth El Congregation and since 2004, she was a resident of Chambrel Senior Living.

Preceded in death by husband, J. William Sholiton and parents, Max and Mildred Federhar.

She was the beloved mother of David Sholiton (Faye), Chuck Sholiton (Cookie Haimerl) and Marianne Saunders (Randy); cherished grandmother of Marni Amsellem (David), Mike Sholiton (Ashley), Ben Sholiton (Colleen), Daniel Saunders and Joshua Saunders; adoring great-grandmother of Nora and Vanessa Amsellem and Brett and Bonnie Sholiton; dear sister of Dolores Schonberg (Richard).

Graveside services Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron, followed by a memorial service at Chambrel, 100 Brookmont, Akron, OH 44333. Family will receive visitors at Chambrel Wednesday, following services until 3:30 p.m., and again at 2401 Allen Blvd., Beachwood, on Thursday, January 31 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. (Gordon-Flury 330-836-7989)
