June 21, 1926 - July 17, 2013 MIDWEST CITY Alvin Eugene Webb was born on June 21, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John Elmer Webb and Laura Hale Webb. He served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater stationed on Iwo Jima. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University graduating with a B.S. degree in Physics in 1951. Alvin married Oneta Colleen Hunt on July 2, 1949 and they were blessed with 64 years of marriage. Alvin retired after 38 years of service at Tinker Air Force Base, last serving as Supervisory Computer Systems Analyst at the Oklahoma Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base. He was an active member in the Midwest City Rotarian Club recognized by the Paul Harris Award for 49 years of perfect attendance. He served his Lord faithfully in all areas of his life including serving as Deacon and Treasurer at Meadowood Baptist Church. He was a volunteer at Midwest City Regional Hospital supporting the Volunteer Auxiliary. He is survived by his wife, Oneta, their son, Al Webb and his wife Kellie of Ozark, MO, daughter, Laura Pergande and her husband Paul of Austin, TX, four grandchildren, Hunter and Price Webb and Phillip and Lydia Pergande, one brother, John E. Webb, Jr. of Siloam Springs, AR, one sister, Betty Bradbury of Sand Springs, OK and many nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Mid-Del Missions, Master's Market through Meadowood Baptist Church. The family wishes to thank Midwest City Regional Medical Center for their love and care. Services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowood Baptist Church.

Oneta: Sorry, about your loss, a week ago Sunday I told you Praise the Lord that you had a good husband, & you said you do, everyday, I'm praying for you and your family, and we all have the assurance of seeing our loved ones again, Praise the Lord for that. I will miss saying hello to him in the choir room & church, and I asked him about you when you were sick. Thank the Lord he gives us others to Love, but most importantly for Jesus. Alvin was such a kind soul loved by all. So dedicated and obviously a man in love with his woman Onetta. Alvin you will be so missed and remembered with extra fondness forever. Rest in peace
