Oct 14, 1920 - Aug 23, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Bayne, 93, went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2014. He was born in Akins, OK to Bradley Carl and Bessie (Watson) Floyd. He married the love of his life, Donna Sewell, on September 7, 1946, in Fort Smith, AR, and together, they shared over 66 years of marriage. Bayne was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Forces in Europe flying in 26 bombing missions and being awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. After the war, Bayne spent 40 years in the oil and gas industry, retiring from Sun Oil. He and his wife, Donna, were members of First Baptist Church of Moore for over 40 years. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Bayne was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Rois; twin brother, Wayne; brothers, Cleatus and Glendon; and his loving wife, Donna. He leaves cherished memories with his daughter, Judy Wells and her husband Larry; four granddaughters, Stephanie McClymonds & husband Marc, Donita Shimabukuro & husband Scotty, Nicole Armentor & husband Colin, and Natalie Henebry & husband Casey; six great-grandchildren, Mya, Baylar, Marleigh, Wells Rois, Layne, and Declan Bayne; as well as many extended loving family and friends. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with family present to greet friends 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Services to celebrate his life will be 1:30 p.m. August 27, 2014, at Vondel Smith Mortuary S.
